37 - Total Recall (1990)
This week THCC delve into the cyberpunk artistry of famed director Paul Verhoeven in Total Recall (1990). In 2084, everyday man Douglas Quaid (the Arnie himself) dreams of going to Mars and do something worthwhile in his life. When he learns of tech-corporation Recall which can make his dreams into a virtual experience, he finds himself learning that his life is a false memory as well as uncovering a deadly political conspiracy. The question: is this all a dream or reality?
