41 - Die Hard (1988)

THCC's Christmas month won't be complete without a review of one of the best action films of the 80s, with the never-ending debate of whether its a 'Christmas film' or not, John McTiernan's Die Hard (1988)  

Dominated by stellar performances from Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman, Die Hard is a simple story of a NY cop caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, who must go up against a group of international robbers in the Nakatomi Plaza on Christmas eve!
